The RAVAC International Film Festival (RAVAC IFF), organized by the Association of Art Consumers and YOUBESC CREATIVE INSTITUTE, is the first international film festival in Moldova dedicated to fiction films with three competitive sections: International Feature Films, Moldovan Film Days, International Short Films.
The purpose of the RAFAC IFF is to promote cinematographic art by presenting the most significant films of the moment: films that reflect both originality and freedom of expression, as well as bolder forms of cinematic language on the international level as one as the local one. The RAVAC International Film Festival is an event planned to be held annually, and the first edition took place in Chisinau (Republic of Moldova) between 03 and 07 October 2018.
The legendary Krzysztof Zanussi comes to Chisinau, for a meeting with students and the local film community, but also to accept the "Excellence Award" from Wine of Moldova, a prize given to a film industry personality for his outstanding contribution to the development of world cinema.
