RAVAC IFF
RAVAC International Film Festival (RAVAC IFF), is the first international film festival in Moldova dedicated to fiction films with three competitive sections:
- International Features (by 1st &2nd time directors)
- International Shorts (live action short under 30min from a
- Moldovan Film Days (features and shorts from Moldovan directors)
RAVAC IFF is organized by ”Association of Art Consumers” and YOUBESC CREATIVE INSTITUTE with the aim to promote cinematographic art by presenting the most significant films of the moment: films that reflect both originality and freedom of expression, as well as bolder forms of cinematic language on the international level as one as the local one.
RAVAC IFF developed, for the first time in our country, an industry platform in order to help Moldovan cinema grow by organizing thematic workshops for directors, producers and specialists in the field. As a long-term objective, this platform will tent to develop a regional co-production market.
At the same time, RAVAC IFF promote Wine Culture and national traditions by aligning the festival to National Wine Days. In next editions, a new section will be planned to be included about wine art dedicated to creators from all over the world.
The RAVAC International Film Festival is an event planned to be held annually and the first edition took place in Chisinau (Republic of Moldova) between 03 and 07 October 2018.
