Intellectual Property Master Class

The Moldovan reality in the field of cinematography shows that Moldovan filmmakers, although enjoying a highly appreciated talent already internationally, still face problems at the level of intellectual property management. The creative industry not only ensures the development of culture in our country but also represent approx. 4% of PIB. Thus, we deduce that the state's duty is to encourage and ensure the continued good development of this industry. Moldovans enjoyed success during the Soviet Union in the field of cinema, a situation that deteriorated after independence, now we are witnessing a rebirth of national cinema, in a healthy and creative spirit, and providing legal-administrative levers would help protect more. good of Moldovan films and their promotion abroad. Of course, a successful national film, not only benefits the creators but also the country it represents, so many directors in recent years have managed to get international attention and even many prestigious awards. This brings back not only image benefits but also investments from foreigners.

RAVAC IFF aims to organize in collaboration with AGEPI and the EU Project "Support for ensuring respect for intellectual property rights" a workshop dedicated to the people of the film and video production industry.

On October 5th, within the Select Philharmonic, a complex training was conducted with 2 specialists in the field of copyright within AGEPI (Florin Mihailov and Eugeniu Rusu) and 1 specialist in Romania (Laurenciiu Oprea, UPFAR-ARGOA vice president and jurist within the TVR).
